MEET THE CLIENT

America Rewind is an American history publication owned by Clearwater Media Group LLC, Sheridan, Wyoming, USA — making this the 4th website Amod Khan Design has built for this established US media company. The blog covers five well-defined content categories — People, Trivia, War History, Everyday History and Landmarks & Places — with a consistent publishing schedule and a growing library of engaging historical content.

When they came to Amod Khan Design, America Rewind had impressive content volume and a clearly defined audience but was running on a basic WordPress layout that didn’t match the depth and storytelling quality of its articles. The publication needed a design that felt as bold and authoritative as American history itself.

THE CHALLENGE

America Rewind was publishing high-quality, well-researched historical content consistently — but the homepage layout was a generic blog grid that made it difficult for readers to distinguish featured stories from regular posts. With no visual hierarchy or editorial structure, compelling articles were getting lost in an endless scroll rather than being showcased properly.

For a publication competing in the crowded US history content space, the design needed to feel like a real media brand — not just another WordPress blog. Without stronger visual identity and better content organisation, the site was underserving both its audience and its ad revenue potential.
