MEET THE CLIENT
The Anxious Adult is a growing lifestyle publication by Ana Khan and a small writing team under Gentle Pathways LLC. The blog covers five content categories — everyday adulting, travel, history, home buying and general life topics — targeting a broad adult readership primarily in the USA.
When they approached Amod Khan Design, the blog had strong content volume and consistent publishing but was running on a basic WordPress setup that wasn’t built to support a growing publication. The design lacked a clear brand identity and the layout wasn’t structured to turn casual readers into loyal returning visitors.
THE CHALLENGE
With dozens of well-written articles across five categories, The Anxious Adult had serious content potential — but the website wasn’t doing that content justice. The homepage presented everything in a basic blog grid with no visual hierarchy, making it hard for readers to know where to start or what to read next.
Navigation was functional but not intuitive enough to guide readers deeper into the site — which was directly limiting session duration, pageviews, and ad revenue potential. The blog needed a full structural and visual overhaul to match the quality of its content.
